Rooted in Reflection: Women’s Wellness Retreat in the Poconos
There’s a special kind of magic that happens when women gather with intention. This month, the Take Care Collective community came together in the heart of the Poconos for our first-ever Women’s Wellness Retreat—a weekend dedicated to rest, reflection, and renewal under the quiet guidance of the new moon.
From the moment we arrived, surrounded by the calm of the mountains and the scent of crisp autumn air, it was clear this would be something special. The Poconos held space for us to slow down—to breathe, stretch, laugh, cry, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Each day flowed with intention: morning yoga and meditation, nourishing meals shared around a long wooden table, and workshops that encouraged us to tune inward. As the new moon rose, we gathered to set intentions for the next chapter - releasing what no longer serves us and calling in clarity, confidence, and care. The night sky mirrored our energy: open, expansive, and full of possibility.
But what truly made the weekend unforgettable was the collective energy of the women who showed up—each one bringing authenticity, vulnerability, and joy. We supported one another through quiet reflection and loud laughter, embodying exactly what Take Care Collective is all about: connection through care.
We left the Poconos feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected than ever—to ourselves, to each other, and to the rhythms of nature. And the best part? This is only the beginning.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for this first retreat, and we’re already dreaming up what’s next. The Take Care Collective Women’s Wellness Retreat will become an annual tradition - a time each year to gather under the moon, to reset, and to remember the power of collective care.
Until next time, Poconos. Thank you for holding us.
Take Care,
Jenna & Josie
